Florida Ski Council 2025 Spring Meeting

Registration

  • First 8 are free for full member clubs. Over free allocation, use "Member Clubs-Additional Spots with Cost" registration type.
  • Use this registration type once you have registered/utilized your free attendee allocation for your club.
  • Only for Florida Ski Council Past Presidents & current FSC Elected Officers/Executive Committee members.
  • Exhibitor fee is per company/location; limit of 2 attendees per paid fee. Additional attendees are allowed at a cost of $140 per person over 2 which will be billed to you in a separate invoice. Please see registration type #6 if you are also providing meal sponsorship for this event.
  • For Industry Partners who would like to include additional attendees that exceed the # of attendees included in their base registration.
  • Registration for Industry Partners who are also providing meal sponsorship to FSC. Meal sponsors are allowed up to (4) attendees at no additional cost.
  • Charity Representatives from Florida School for the Deaf & Blind. Please contact the FSC Secretary, Karla Newan (fsckarla@gmail.com) to make your hotel reservations for this event.

2025 FSC Spring Meeting at Mission Inn Resort

Howey-in-the-Hills, FL

June 6 -June 8, 2025

Will include presentations and voting for the 2027 January & February North America trips & 2026 International FAM destination. 

 

Here's the high-level agenda:

Friday 6/6

  • Participants arrive and take advantage of one of the restaurants on property or relax in the La Margarita Lounge. If arriving early, be sure to get in a round of golf or enjoy the spa or pool.

Saturday 6/7

  • Breakfast for club and Council participants followed by the first half of our Spring meeting. Bid presentations for the FSC 2027 January and February trips will occur, along with review of the 2025/2026 potential international FAM destinations. 

  • Industry partners who have elected to play golf on Saturday afternoon will be able to set up their Showcase displays in the am while the Council meeting occurs. Remaining exhibitors will be able to set up displays any time after lunch.

  • Lunch provided for all participants. This will include our annual charity collection and donation to the Ski and Winter Sports Athletic Club at the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind. After lunch fun activities like golf, volleyball, pickleball or lounging by the pool will be available. Please note that both golf and pickleball require separate advance registrations.

  • Industry Partner Showcase in the evening with food provided for all participants.

  • Adjourn around 9 pm to the La Margarita Lounge for DJ-provided music.  

Sunday 6/8

  • Breakfast for club, Council & sponsored charity participants.

  • Club and Council reps meet to conclude the business meeting, including voting for the 2027 January and February FSC trip destinations and tour operators and the International FAM destination to occur in 2025/2026 for the potential 2027 international trip selection. 

  • The meeting on Sunday will end with FSC Officer elections for the 2025-2026 term. Five of the six current FSC Officers will be running for re-election to their current position on the Executive Committee.  All elected positions are open to any qualified candidate from any of the FSC member clubs in good standing.

ALL ROOMS HAVE RECENTLY BEEN RENOVATED!

FSC room rate is $159 per night plus tax for a standard room (single or double occupancy) and a $30 per night resort fee plus tax. Please note that a one-night deposit of $209.79 will be required at the time of reservation. These special rates are only guaranteed through May 6th. Higher rates may apply after that date. 

If you want to extend your stay, rooms are available 3 days prior and 3 days after the event. Special suite rates are also available.  Call Mission Inn to inquire and be sure to say you are with the Florida Ski Council.

    FLORIDA SKI COUNCIL: The Florida Ski Council is made up of 16 member ski clubs. Club members have reciprocal privileges which allow them to travel with other clubs. Collectively, our clubs take thousands of travelers to the slopes each season.
