8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (estimated return time)
Join Toufic for an off-road biking adventure. This is a great opportunity to see some Florida terrain not visible during your drive on the interstate. Our goal is to HAVE FUN!
- Intermediate-level off-road riding skills are required to participate.
- There will be a cost for bicycle rental (see details below).
- Depending on the number of interested persons, you may be asked to provide your own car to the route start.
- Entries must be received by May 22, 2017.
We will be biking at the Santos Trailhead, formerly known as the Cross Florida Barge Canal Trails. The bike park is in Bellevue, Florida, located south of Ocala.
Santos Park is a biking park like no other. The single and double tracks are divided into three difficulty levels. Yellow is the easiest, blue the intermediate, and red the most difficult. Does it sound familiar?
The park has many rated loops with names, just like any slope in a snow ski resort. There are many areas with changes in elevation throughout the park. We could call them “Florida mountains”.
We will leave early Friday morning. The bike shop will open early for us (8 a.m.) to rent the bikes.
You must also pre-register on the bike shop website at www.greenwaybikeshop.com

We will be driving in separate vehicles, so please indicate in the form if you are willing to drive in case we need you.
